The Complementary Cycle
The complementary cycle at our school is to provide the students with adequate and necessary knowledge, capabilities, and values in order to build an educated and civilized Lebanese citizen committed to citizenship and related values such as national, cultural, and civil identities. Moreover, we aim to enrich the learners’ cognitive stock with scientific and literary terms that help them to acquire analytical and critical skills, enhance their confidence as independent individuals willing to cooperate and engage in society, and balance their freedom and responsibilities.
It all falls within a scientific framework based on active learning that takes into consideration the varied individual abilities so that every student would be able to overcome their difficulties and enter the official exams equipped with all the proper educational competencies. Mention must be made that students with difficulties are accompanied and supported with convenient procedures, adaptations, and adjustments based on the official qualification, in order to obtain the necessary assistance or even the exemption from the official exams.
